Les Gonflés

Follow the dancers of Didier Theron’s Company and conquer the world

Didier Theron is a self-taught man who learned to dance with Merce Cunningham, Dominique Bagouet, Trisha Brown and went to Japan to follow master Zen Harada Tangen’s teaching.
Choreographer and dancer, he lives and works in Montpellier. The museum is proud to host « Les Gonflés » who will roll out « the long sentence » in an urban area for conquering the world. In 2013, Didier Theron earned the first prize at the Setouchi International Art Festival for this performance.

With their costumes, Didier Theron’s inflated dancers (Les Gonflés) will roll out « the long sentence » while performing. Whatever the situation – improvisation is considered as a part of the game – they always find in themselves the energy and motivation to take up every challenge. First Prize at the Setouchi Triennale 2013.
